Meet Dr Pam Singletary

Being a graduate of Westwood High School and the University of Texas, Dr.Singletary made Austin home again in 1998. Since that time, she has been providing specialized pediatric dental care to children in Austin and the surrounding areas. After completing her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Dr. Singletary's love of treating children led her to complete an additional 2 year residency program, specializing in Pediatric Dentistry at Childrens Hospital of New Orleans.She finalized her advanced training in pediatric dentistry at Louisana State University School of Dentistry. At this program she received extensive training in the treatment of medically complex patients with multiple disabilities, interceptive orthodontics, dental emergencies (facial traumas), conscious sedation and hospital dentistry. This rigorous training in a clinical and hospital setting helped her acquire those skills and knowledge necessary to meet the needs of any child.

In 2005, she became board certified by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Following this they awarded her diplomate status which is the highest honor one can receive in the specialty of Pediatric Dentistry.

She has been recognized in the nationally published magazine, Texas Monthly, as a "Texas Super Doctors" for numerous years in a row. This publication is put out annually and gives a list of doctors that have earned the confidence and high regards of their peers.

Dr.Singletary feels truly blessed to be able to for fill her life long dream of becoming a pediatric dentist and approaches her patients with compassion and sensitivity while maintaining the highest level of care. She is dedicated to individualizing the needs of every child to insure that their unique dental experience is fun, positive and exciting. Her high energy and enthusiasm is brought to each child's dental appointment. Being fluent in spanish makes treating her spanish speaking patients more comfortable which is something Dr. Singletary takes pride in being able to provide to these families.

She provides many treatment options including nitrous oxide, in office conscious sedation and dental treatment under general anesthesia in the hospital setting. Dr. Singletary has completed numerous hours of continuing education in emergency and sedation dentistry. She also holds a certificate in Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
